I really like Zlodge, I am a traveling content creator and found a really good deal with Zlodge, I stayed in the superior room right on the beach, the owner is someone special who spends a lot of attention on detail and the kitchen, you can see the work done on their Instagram page. @z.lodge.zanzibar. It was instant chemistry with the place, the food, the people, the views, and the owner. I could not be happier with selecting this place, you can truly admire the effort that goes into making it special for the price they ask, I would say this is a steal, if it is available just take it. You can always travel from this village to other parts of the island because of its central location. Recommended stay time minimum 3 days.

The owners can also recommend food or arrange for something that's not on the menu - I was very satisfied with those alternatives, super tasty.

Rauhallinen kohde, missä ainoa häiritsevä tekijä on ärsyttävän sitkeät rantakaupustelijat/retkien tyrkyttäjät. Poikkeuksena Masait, jotka olivat hyvin ystävällisiä ja uskoivat kerrasta jos ei kiinnostanut... Kannattaa mennä 100m rannalta sisäänpäin, kylään käymään, niin näkee heti hieman aidompaa Sansibaria!

the huge multiple pools, how close it was to the ocean, the food was really good and the staff (from reception to wait and bar staff and the Masai security team) were lovely and warm. the property is tucked away at the north most part of the island. commutes can be long. I would advise exploring exertions by boat or staying extra days in different parts of the island as well to get a more rounded experience

This is, without any doubt, the BEST resort/hotel I ever been to. When we first stepped in to the resort our breath were taken away from us, it was so beautiful that we just stood there and making wow noises. The facilitys are great, the staf is polite and helpful and the location is perfect. The food were also incredible. We will come back, no doubt! Hieno, hyvinpidetty hotelli kauniilla paikalla. Täällä kelpaa katsella auringonlaskuja! Mukava ja avulias henkilökunta. Hotellilla ihana, rauhallinen tunnelma. Todella paljon tekemistä hotellilla ilman lisämaksua, kuten snorklaus, SUP, melonta, minigolf, pingis, katamaran-ajelu... Ruoka oli hyvää, ja vaihteli päivittäin. Hotellihuone oli siisti. Hotelli oli viihtyisä, ihanat kukkaset sängyllä yllätyksenä. Tosin jostain ilmeisesti ikkunanraosta pääsi pieniä hyönteisiä sängylleni.

It was a lovely place, located on quiet beach. With just 12 rooms, its perfect for a quiet getaway. The aesthetics are very nice, coming from an Italian owner. The food was superb, especially for Vegetarians, which can be a little difficult to find in Zanzibar, but to top it all, their craft beer was out of the world. Didn't expect such amazing craft beer.
